Pipe Threading Systems
Pipe threaders are specific to the composite pipe manufacturer.
The Entec pipe threader utilizes a diamond form wheel to grind external threads into composite pipe. Pipe end chamfering is done on the same machine. Straight or tapered threads may be ground. The typical thread form used in composites is the round long thread specified by API (American Petroleum Institute) Standard 5B.
