Control system integration

Entec Composite Machines is pleased to announce the release of EZ-MOTIONS control system, which has been fully integrated into all Filament Winder, Fiber Placement, Creel/Tensioner and Plant control automation solutions.

EZ-MOTIONS are used on both New and Retrofit systems!

EZ-MOTIONS use the popular Siemens SINUMERIK 840Di as the main centralized control integrations platform, which all operator applications are run.

SINUMERIK 840Di is a fully integrated PC (Win XP) control system with an open-ended architecture, designed to accommodate Multi-Axis Motion Control, capable of extended Channel & Mode Groups. The 840Di has an embedded PLC with integrated field bus communications (PROFIBUS 12MBaud / MPI 187.5KBaud) thus allowing interface to numerous field devices (i.e. other PLCs, MCP, Hand-Pendants, etc.)
