Composite Parts


Engineering Technology Coporation is here to assist you with a variety of composite part design and analysis needs. We use computer aided design (CAD), solid modeling, and finite element analysis (FEA) using Autodesk Nastran (former NEiNastran) for part design. Our capabilities include isotropic and anisotropic materials analysis, combined thermal and mechanical loading, non-linear contact, and material behavior. Below are a few examples of parts we have designed:

  • Composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPV) including autofrettage design
  • Automotive parts drive shafts, chassis components, twist axles
  • Industrial parts: crane booms, pipes, flywheels, utility poles
  • Aerospace/aeronautical composite fuselages, wings, bulkheads
