In addition to our standard product lines, Entec offers
a wide variety of specialty winders. We have experience
producing polar winders, tumble winders, turret winders
and tape wrappers.

Entec also offers economical retrofit options for
older winders that are in danger of becoming obsolete,
including retrofit of machinery produced by other
manufacturers.
Tape Wrappers
The ECM tape wrapper
is designed to provide spindle rotation and carriage
movement to wrap bias or high tensile tape on mandrels
of various shapes and sizes. This type of machine
is generally used for applying a thick ablative layer
for re-entry nose cones and nozzle exit cones, although
it could be used for other types of tape wrapping.
Both horizontal and vertical machines are available.
