Our team of engineers collectively has many decades of experience in the composite industry. ECM also has a long-standing affiliation with leading consultants in the industry whose expertise is available to you.
Whether you need extensive development and FEA analysis or just a simple project done, we have the capability and facility you need. We can assist you with our pattern generation software and/or assist you in creating specifications for your equipment needs.
The CTDC is equipped with the following:
- Two winding machines with capacities from small parts up to 24 inch diameter, 12 ft. long.
- Programmable curing oven with capacity for parts up to 4 ft. diameter, 25 ft. long.
- Pultrusion machine.
- Diamond wheel part cut-off saw.
- Extractor
- Resin formulation and mixing.
- Material hardness, strength and stiffness testing equipment.
- Hand lay-up tables and tooling.
ECM also has close ties with several universities and private research laboratories where extensive testing or other support functions are available if needed.
